Pre-order Policy

 🍓The Senshi Shopper Collection is expected to ship JANUARY 2024. Any updates to this timeline will be posted on our PRE-ORDER UPDATES page🍓


Otaka House products will sometimes operate on a pre-order structure. This means you will pay to "reserve" item(s) from our stock that will be shipped to you once production, processing and distribution. Wait times for these pre-order items will vary from approximately 1 to 4 months, and will always be outlined clearly during each drop/release.

Pre-order purchases are eligible for a refund for up to 7 days after purchase. After 7 days, pre-order deposits are non-refundable. You may process a return after receiving your pre-order item(s) compliant with our RETURN POLICY. Refunds on items shipped are determined on a case-by-case basis by Otaka House. Otherwise, all sales are final. 


Pre-order Process

1. Pre-order Window

First we open pre-orders on, usually at a discounted price for a certain period of time. Once pre-order sell out or the close date of the window passes, pre-orders for that specific item will be closed and you won't be able to purchase that particular item unless there is overstock or a restock.

2. Production

This is the longest part! Once the pre-order window closes (and sometimes before) our manufacturing partner gets to work on making the dopest anime bags & beyond for you and all the others who ordered. Production time varies dependent on the item.

We take a lot of pride in the product we make with our partners so sometimes it takes longer than we'd all like. We promise, you'll be glad for it!

3. Processing & Quality Control

This is when we process all of our orders at Otaka House HQ once the shipments arrive to us from our manufacturer. We do QC (quality control), take proper stock, reconcile your orders, pack, and update our site with overstock from the initial pre-order(s). 

4. Shipping

Out of Stock / Restock FAQ

The product I'm interested in is out of stock! When will it be back in stock? How can I request for an item to be restocked?

We will restock products based on availability and customer interest! If you'd like for an item to be restocked that isn't currently planned for a restock, the best way to let us know is on social media:

I missed the pre-order period! How can I get my hands on the item I want?

When a pre-order window closes or a pre-order items sells out, it will be marked as out of stock. If there is remaining product from a pre-order then it will be available to purchase from stock in our catalog. Please note that in stock prices may differ from pre-order prices so if you want the best deal, try to catch your favorite items on pre-order!
